Honors College Experience
Experience a community of scholars, leaders, and innovators committed to academic excellence and meaningful impact.
The Honors College experience prepares students for success beyond graduation by developing advanced research, communication, and leadership skills. These experiences support preparation for graduate school, professional careers, and competitive fellowship opportunities.
Through research presentations, faculty mentorship, global learning, and meaningful leadership experiences, Honors students gain the confidence and perspective needed to thrive in their chosen fields.
Honors students have opportunities to present their research and scholarly work at local, regional, and national conferences. These experiences help students strengthen communication skills, build confidence, and prepare for graduate study and professional opportunities.
Honors students expand their learning through study abroad, service, leadership development, and other experiential opportunities. These experiences encourage students to engage with new perspectives, strengthen leadership skills, and connect classroom learning to the world beyond campus.
Through the Honors College Student Council and college-wide programming, students can help shape the Honors experience while building community with their peers. Opportunities include student leadership, event planning, engagement activities, and collaboration with faculty and staff.
