Agnieszka Tulowiecka, Ph.D.

Dr. Agnieszka Tulowiecka (Dr. T) is a student-centered educator, counselor, and advocate dedicated to creating meaningful and inclusive learning experiences. Her scholarship includes college student adjustment and well-being, clinician practices related to trauma, conversations about sexuality, executive functioning, and bullying. Her work also reflects an interest in students’ sense of belonging and overall success.

Dr. T teaches both content and field-based courses, with a strong focus on preparing students for thoughtful, ethical, and responsive counseling practice. She is particularly committed to advocacy and to supporting individuals and communities navigating complex social, legal, and justice-system circumstances.

She also leads study-abroad experiences and is passionate about creating opportunities for students who have never traveled internationally, encouraging them to step beyond their comfort zones and experience the world from new perspectives.

On a personal note, Dr. T has a longstanding fascination with crime, criminal behavior, and the justice system. She jokingly says that she must have been a gangster in a previous life which might explain her enthusiasm for crime shows and just about anything crime-related. This curiosity complements her professional interest in understanding people, their experiences, and the complex circumstances that shape their lives.
